Astroglide Warming lube is a favorite that’s sure to please. Astroglide Warming lubricant is water based & water soluble, petroleum free, light, odorless, colorless, tasteless, non-staining, long lasting, contains no spermicide and won’t harm your condoms! With the same comfortable qualities of regular Astroglide, the warming liquid formula gently heats up upon contact for an enhanced sensation and pleasure. What more could you ask for in a sex lube?
Condoms: Now you feel them, now you don’t.
Unlike petroleum-based lubricants, Astroglide sex lube won’t break down or weaken latex. But the real perk? Astroglide heightens pleasure and boosts sensitivity, making condom sex feel more like the real thing. But don’t take our word for it. Glamour Magazine’s sexual ethics columnist, Lynn Showden, writes:
"A certain canny girlfriend insisted I try a product called Astroglide. Now a convert, I have to say even sex before AIDS was never like this. With these new high-tech lubricants, safe sex can be something of a revelation."
Is it safe?
Absolutely. Astroglide lubes water-based, non-toxic formula is completely safe. In fact, Astroglide sexual lubricant has been enjoyed, and we do mean enjoyed, for nearly a decade. But that doesn’t mean we’ll ever stop testing it ourselves.
Comfort and convenience for women
The easiest way to relieve vaginal dryness is with an over-the-counter lubricant made especially for this purpose. Astroglide lubes, the newest development in personal lubricants, was created by a rocket scientist (really!)--a space engineer/chemist while devising superlubricants for the space shuttle. This water-based, water-soluble lubricant mimics nature, providing plenty of cushioning moisture to protect delicate tissues. Even better, it is a super-slippery product that enhances sexual pleasure because it promotes friction without rubbing or irritation. It’s important to always choose a water-based lubricant, such as Astroglide. It doesn’t interfere with vaginal pH, is safe to use with condoms (petroleum-based products can damage latex), has a gentle, clean feeling (no stickiness or grit), and is super-simple to wash off with water.

A personal lubricant can provide comfort and ease during intimate activity and act as a vaginal moisturizer for women suffering from dryness.
What makes Astroglide unique?
Only Astroglide's trade secret formula is soothing, moisturizing, and virtually indistinguishable from natural vaginal moisture. It provides the highest level of slipperiness and retains its lubricating property for hours. It does not develop a rough, gritty feeling, does not become sticky, and does not interfere with natural pH levels. No other lubricant provides the same level of comfort, ease of use, and natural feel. Astroglide is non-irritating, and leaves no residue.
Who needs Astroglide?
Anyone who wants to take their sexual relationship to a new level of excitement. Astroglide allows couples to achieve heightened sensitivity and pleasure. Astroglide also makes safer sex more fun. It makes condom use more pleasant, making safer sex a reality for more people. In addition, women suffering from vaginal dryness can use Astroglide not only as a lubricant, but also as a moisturizer.
How does Astroglide enhance sexual activity?
When used during intimate activity, Astroglide definitely heightens sexual pleasure for both partners. In her book, To Be Alive, Carol Runowicz says, "Men go crazy: they call it Astroheaven." When used with a condom, Astroglide's slippery friction intensifies pleasures and, at the same time, provides a greater sensation of warmth and closer body contact, heightening pleasure and creating a stronger sense of intimacy. Glamour Magazine's sexual ethics columnist Lynn Showden notes: "A certain canny girlfriend insisted I try a product called Astroglide. Now a convert, I have to say even sex before AIDS was never like this. With these new high-tech lubricants, safe sex can be something of a revelation."
Is Astroglide safe to use with condoms?
Yes. Since Astroglide is a water-based, water soluble personal lubricant, it is safe to use with condoms. Only water-based lubricants should be used with condoms. Petroleum-based products (Vaseline, baby oil or mineral oil) can break down latex, increasing the risk of pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases. In addition, moisture creams and lotions can interfere with vaginal pH levels and can cause irritation or even yeast infections.
What causes vaginal dryness?
Vaginal dryness can be caused by menopause, childbirth/nursing, menstruation, medications, cancer therapy, strenuous exercise and emotional stress.

Is vaginal dryness a common problem?
According to health experts, 20 million women in the U.S. suffer from vaginal dryness. Over half of all women between the ages of 18 and 29 will experience vaginal dryness, as will 80% of all menopausal women. Astroglide provides an easy, effective means of relieving the discomfort caused by vaginal dryness.
Can I use Astroglide while trying to conceive?
Astroglide is not a spermicide and will not kill sperm. Studies have shown, however, that Astroglide as well as other topical lubricants do inhibit the motility or movement of sperm. Knowing this, if you choose to use Astroglide, we suggest using a small amount applied to the outer area. Discontinue use if conception is not achieved in a reasonable amount of time. It is always advised to consult your physician first and to follow his or her recommendation.
Can Astroglide be used with a spermicidal lubricant?
Astroglide (or any lubricant) can dilute the effectiveness of spermicidal products. It is best not to use a lubricant when using a spermicidal product.
Can Astroglide cause irritation?
Astroglide does not contain fragrances, colorings or other ingredients that are common irritants, however, any topical product can cause irritation. If you feel that you may be sensitive to one of the ingredients, discontinue use.
Can Astroglide cause a yeast infection?
Astroglide will not cause a yeast infection, however, there have been several women's journals citing glycerin as a source of yeast infections. This is not true! In fact, some yeast infection cures contain glycerin. An existing yeast infection can be made worse by using products containing a large percentage of glycerin. This is because the sugars in glycerin act as a food source for the yeast. Women who are prone to yeast infections should use a lubricant that does not contain glycerin.
Are there animal products in Astroglide?
There are no animal products in Astroglide.
What if Astroglide is swallowed during intimate activity?
Astroglide is non-toxic and ingesting small amounts should not be harmful.
Will the vaginal or anal tissues absorb Astroglide during intercourse?
Most of the ingredients are macro polymers that are too large for cell absorption. Astroglide is a transient device, and consequently does not remain in the body for long. Glycerin and water are the only ingredients that can be absorbed. Both are commonly used in products and have been determined safe by the FDA.
