Natrol, Inc founded in 1980 manufactures products aimed at nourishing the potential of the mind and body. Some of the 200 nutritional products manufactured by Natrol, Inc include Acidophilus, Cranberry, Olive Leaf Extract, DHEA, Echinacea Goldenseal and Tonalin CLA.
Acidophilus
Acidophilus produced by Natrol, Inc comes in two varieties namely Acidophilus Probiotic 100 mg and BioBeads Probiotic Acidophilus. Acidophilus aids proper immune function and maintains a healthy balance of “friendly” bacteria in the digestive system. The chief components of Acidophilus are Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Whey Powder, Cellulose, Gelatin, water and Magnesium Stearate. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is one of a number of bacteria in the genus Lactobacillus. The benefits of Lactobacillus Acidophilus are being continuously researched, but some of its known benefits are helping reduce vaginal yeast infections, providing relief from indigestion and diarrhea and helping improve lactose intolerance.
Cranberry
Cranberry is one of the products in Natrol, Inc. women’s health range. Cranberry is sold in bottles and each bottle contains 30 easy to swallow capsules. Cranberry contains 400 mg of cranberry extract, 240mg of organic acids, Gelatin, Silica and Magnesium Stearate. Cranberries are an excellent source of polyphenol antioxidants that are known to provide specific health benefits to the cardiovascular and immune systems. The cranberry extract in Cranberry is seen to reduce the incidence of urinary tract infections by inhibiting bacterial attachment to the bladder and urethra. Cranberry can also help prevent tooth decay.
Olive Leaf Extract
Olive Leaf Extract contains 30mg oleuropein with a potency of 6%.The other components in Olive Leaf Extract include olive leaf extract 500mg, olive leaf powdered 80mg, Gelatin, Silica and Magnesium Stearate. Oleuropein is a phytochemical and it can be useful in treating a variety of conditions ranging from the common cold, ear, nose and throat infections to a host of bacterial, viral and fungal infections. DHEA

Echinacea Goldenseal

The important components in Echinacea Goldenseal include 360mg of Echinacea purpurea, 125mg of Goldenseal, Gelatin and Magnesium Stearate. The Echinacea purpurea in Echinacea Goldenseal is a popular folk medicine and is credited with the ability to boost the immune system, particularly preventing infections such as the common cold. Goldenseal is reputed to be a natural antibiotic and is used to treat symptoms of cold and a variety of gastric and urinary tract disorders. Tonalin CLA
