Planetary Formulas for Everyone
Planetary Formulas was set up by expert herbalists, and the formulations developed by Planetary Formulas are based on thousands of years of Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese herbalism. Cinnamon Extract
Cinnamon Extract formulated by Planetary Formulas is based on one of the oldest remedies in traditional Chinese medicine. Cinnamon Extract was historically used for digestive support but recent studies have also shown that Cinnamonum aromaticum may help maintain healthy blood glucose levels. Cinnamonum aromaticum acts by activating insulin and glucose transport and aids glucose metabolism. Each serving of Cinnamon Extract comprises two tablets and contains 50mg of calcium, 300 mg of Cinnamomum aromaticum Bark Extract 10:1 Yielding 8% Flavonoids, 100mg of Cinnamomum aromaticum Bark, dibasic calcium phosphate, stearic acid, modified cellulose gum, and colloidal silicon dioxide. Cinnamon Extract is marketed in bottles containing 60 and 120 tablets. Essential oils in Cinnamon Extract contain active components such as cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl acetate and cinnamyl alcohol. Cinnamaldehyde prevents unwanted clotting of blood platelets and also has anti-inflammatory qualities. The essential oils in Cinnamon Extract have anti microbial tendencies. Studies have shown that Cinnamonum aromaticum limits the growth of fungi including the yeast Candida. Recent research has also shown that the essential oils of Cinnamonum aromaticum can also be used as an alternative to traditional food preservatives.
Maca Extract
Planetary Formulas Full Spectrum Maca Extract is based on the traditional use of Maca for stamina and endurance. Planetary Formulas’ Maca Extract is manufactured by combining a standardized Maca extract with a whole Maca root extract. This is done to preserve the integrity of the entire herb while delivering potent amounts of the important constituents. Each serving of Maca Extract comprises three tablets and contains the following ingredients Maca Root Extract (4:1) 75 mg, Maca Root Extract (Lepidium meyenii) 900 mg, 0.6% macamides and macaenes, sorbitol, stearic acid, modified cellulose gum, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate. Maca Extract is a powerhouse of nutrition and energy and is seen as a beneficial supplement for the body. Reishi Mushroom
Planetary Formulas provides a full spectrum extract of Reishi Mushroom and it is marketed by Planetary Formulas under the brand name Reishi Mushroom. Reishi Mushroom contains an excess of 100 oxygenated lanostane triterpenes. Many of these are know to support our immune defence system. Planetary Formulas Reishi Mushroom extract combines a concentrated extract of the mature fruit along with the mycelia biomass to guarantee that every bit of Reishi Mushroom properties is present and easily absorbed. Each serving of Reishi Mushroom comprises 2 tablets and contains 920 mg of a proprietary blend, 106 mg of Calcium, Reishi Mycelia Biomass and Mature Reishi Mushroom Extract, dibasic calcium phosphate, sorbitol, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, modified cellulose gum, and magnesium stearate. Active compounds present in Reishi Mushroom include enzymes, glycoproteins, polysaccharides and other metabolites which are seen to encourage immune responses. Reishi Mushroom also contains coumarin, polysaccharides, sterols, mannitol, and triterpenoids which are called ganoderic acids.
