Health and Wisdom Potassium Iodide USP Grade

Potassium iodide (also called KI) is a salt of stable (not radioactive) iodine. Stable iodine is an important chemical needed by the body to make thyroid hormones. Most of the stable iodine in our bodies comes from the food we eat. KI is stable iodine in a medicine form.



26 grams Health and Wisdom Potassium Iodide Makes 1 Liter (200 5 ml servings).



Directions:

Empty the contents of this jar (20 grams) to one liter (33.8 oz) of water. Shake to mix until dissolved. This produces 1000 ml (200 5 ml servings) of Potassium Iodide solution with a strength of 130 mg for each 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of Potassium Iodide (KI) solution.



The jar is bpa free, white heavy wall polypropylene. Potassium Iodide is stable. If unopened and kept dry the shelf life is about 7 years.
